General Questions

Temporary phone numbers are virtual numbers you can rent for a short period to receive SMS verification codes. They allow you to register on websites and services without using your personal phone number, protecting your privacy and keeping your real number safe from spam.

We continuously add new numbers from various countries. Number availability is updated in real time on the main page. If a specific country or service is temporarily unavailable, please check back later as stock is refreshed regularly throughout the day.

Accounts may be restricted for violating our Terms of Service, such as fraudulent activity or abuse of the platform. If you believe your account was banned in error, please contact our support team with your account details and we will review your case promptly.

Number availability depends on current stock from our suppliers. Some services or countries may temporarily be out of stock. You can try selecting a different country or check back later. Popular services tend to restock quickly. The availability count shown next to each service reflects real-time stock.

Balance Replenishment

You can top up your balance using cryptocurrency. We accept USDT (TRC-20) and BTC deposits. Navigate to the Balance page in your account, select your preferred cryptocurrency, and send funds to the provided wallet address. Your balance will be credited automatically after the required network confirmations.

Cryptocurrency transactions require network confirmations before they are processed. USDT (TRC-20) typically requires around 20 confirmations, and BTC requires at least 2 confirmations. Please wait a few minutes and check your balance again. If more than 30 minutes have passed and your balance is still not updated, contact support with your transaction hash (TXID).

At this time, deposited funds are non-refundable and cannot be withdrawn. All deposits are intended for use within the platform to purchase temporary numbers. Please only deposit the amount you plan to use.

Transferring funds between accounts is not currently supported. Each account balance is independent and tied to the deposits made to that specific account.

SMS & Verification Codes

SMS delivery can take up to a few minutes depending on the service and country. Make sure you entered the rented number correctly on the target website. If the SMS does not arrive within the rental period, you can cancel the number (a partial refund may apply) and try purchasing a new one, possibly from a different country.

Make sure you are entering the code exactly as received, without extra spaces. Verification codes are time-sensitive, so enter them as soon as they arrive. If the code has expired on the target service, request a new code from that service. If the problem persists, try purchasing a new number.

Temporary numbers may have been used previously by other users for the same service. If you encounter this, cancel the current number and purchase a new one. You can also try numbers from a different country to increase your chances of getting an unused number for that particular service.

Yes, as long as the number rental period has not expired, you can receive multiple SMS messages on the same number. Simply request a new code from the target service and it will appear in your active number's SMS list on RentVerify.

RentVerify currently supports SMS-based verification only. Voice call verification is not available. If a service requires phone call verification, you will need to use an alternative method.

API Information

Your API token is available in your account settings. Log in to your RentVerify account, navigate to Profile or Settings, and you will find your unique API token there. This token is used for authentication with all API endpoints via the Authorization: Bearer <token> header.

You can purchase numbers programmatically using our REST API. The typical workflow is: query available countries, list services for your chosen country, then call the buy endpoint with the desired service and country parameters. The API will return the phone number and a number ID you can use to check for incoming SMS. Refer to our API documentation for full endpoint details.

Yes, our API is designed for easy integration. You can use standard HTTP requests from any programming language. All requests are authenticated with your API token, and responses are returned in JSON format. This makes it straightforward to integrate number purchasing, SMS checking, and number management into your own tools and automation workflows.

Registration & Login

Make sure you are using a valid email address and that your password meets the minimum requirements. Check that you have a stable internet connection. If you see a specific error message, try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then attempt registration again. If the issue persists, contact support.

Double-check your email and password for typos. If you have forgotten your password, use the Forgot Password link on the login page to reset it. Make sure your account has not been suspended. If you still cannot log in after resetting your password, please contact our support team for assistance.

To change your email address, go to your Profile settings after logging in. If the option to change email is not available directly, contact our support team with your current email and the new email address you wish to use. We will verify your identity before making any changes.

If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, immediately reset your password using the Forgot Password feature. After regaining access, review your recent activity and check your balance for any unauthorized transactions. We also recommend regenerating your API token in your profile settings. Contact support immediately if you notice any suspicious activity.
